Palak paneer, fried rice ,chilli chicken and gajar ki halwa.
It was already 7pm and it has time for him to arrive. My heartbeat started rising with each passing time.
Today I have decided to confess my feelings to sir.. yes you heard it right..I am not able to keep it anymore as a secret.
At the same time, I am afraid of his reactions. I don't know whether he feels the same way or not. Will he accept my feelings ??
The doorbell rang and i got up to open the door. Seeing me he gave me a tired smile.
'Kaisa raha din?' I asked forwarding a glass of cold water.
'Boss ko bohut pasand aya mera presentation' he grins.
'Wah yeh toh bohut achi baat hain' i responded back.
He goes upstairs to freshen up and till then I started to reheat the food.
I started to arrange his plates as he came down surprised seeing variety of dishes.
'Aaj kuch khaas h kya jo itne saare khana banaya tumhne?' he asked startled as I started to serve him fried rice.
'Woh khaas toh hain mere liye..' i whispers biting my inner cheeks.
'Kya hain aaj ??mujhe toh kuch yaad nahi aa raha??' he raised his eyebrows in confusion.
'Mujhe aapko kuch important batana hain sir' I said with slight nervousness.
He put the spoon down staring at me, 'kya Disha?? Tum abhi bata sakti ho'.
I immediately shook my head, 'Nahi pehale aap khana finish kar lijiye phir bataungi'
He smiled ,continuing to eat.
I sat beside him as I started rubbing my palm in nervousness.
'Haa ab toh bata sakti ho na, mera dinner bhi ho gaya' he asked, asking me to sit in the balcony chair.
I licked my lips, 'Mujhe pata nahi mein kaise batau aapko sir..par I started falling for you'
His entire body froze hearing out my words. He got up in response.
'I love you sir ...' I confess staring into his eyes ..I smiled nodding my head.
'Mujhe yeh bhi pata hain ki aap mujhe uss nazar se nahi dekhte..and I am not expecting you to tell me the same thing but only I want you to know how I feel about you..I ...'
Before I could continue further..
'How could you Disha?' he asked in disbelief.
'Sir ..??' i stammers..
'Mein tumhe mera ek sacha dost mana..and in return you gave me this? How could you??' he asked.
My eyes immediately filled with tears..
'Nahi sir mein aapse bohut pyaar karta hun ...mera irada galat nahi hain...i just want to give you the love which you deserve..' I tried to held his hand..
But he backed away immediately, 'Don't touch me'
He firm voice flinched me.
'Apne ghar jao Disha.. bohut raat ho gaya hain' he said turning his back to me.
'Sir... please...aap gussa mat kijiye..' I sobbed ..
But he didn't reply to my answer, 'Niche mera driver chor dega tumhe ghar...jao yaha se'
I sobbed wiping my tears as I took my sling bag glancing at his back.
I was about to step out when his next words shock me to the core..
'Kal se yaha aane ki aur koi zarurat nahi hain..I will ask Rajat to help you find an another job' he said.
'Sir ...aap meri wajah se khudko kyu punish kar rahe hain...aapko phir kaun help karega??' I asked shaking my head.
'Tumhe mera fikar karne ki koi zarurat nahi hain..mein apna kaam khud kar sakta hun ...' he said ..
I gulped the painful lump formed in my throat. I leave from there.

On the other hand,
Sahil could see her getting inside his car by the window.
For a fleeting moment, their eyes met through the glass.
Her tear-streaked face stabbed at his heart like a dagger.
He looks away breaking the eye contact as one lone tear escape from the corner of his eye.
He doesn't understanding that that by hurting her ,at the end, he is hurting himself.

Author's POV:-
It was few days after that incident happened. As per his order,Disha had stopped coming to his house.
Sahil was trying to concentrate on his work but he couldn't able to as each time her tear striken face is coming in front of him.
'Zabardasti se koi kaam thik se nahi hota Sahil' a voice came from the door.
He looks up to see Rajat standing leaning the door.
'Tu yaha??' he startled seeing him there suddenly.
'Toh kya karta ?? Phone karta toh uthata nahi hain...na tu uthata hain aur naa hi Disha?? Ho kya gaya hain tum dono ko ??' he asked as he leaned on the sofa beside him..
Sahil looks away.
'Hua kya hain tujhe batayga kuch?? Aur Disha kaha hain?? Dikhayi nahi de raha ??' he asked looking here and there.
'Woh yaha aur kaam nahi karti.. Meine hi usse yaha aane se use mana kar diya' he murmurs.
'Kyu pyaar vyaar kar liya kya??' he joked unintentionally.
And he just glared at him hardly in response.
He immediately straightened himself and lift his hand in surrender,
'Dekh bhai mazak kar Raha tha...tu seriously kyu le Raha hain..'
He continues glared at him..
'Acha tu jaa abhi mere liye ek cup coffee bana k le aa ...jaa bohut bhook laga hain' he chuckled nervously ribbing his back..
'Aise kya ghoor raha hain ..jaa na ...acha thik ha mein hi jata hun banane k liye...tu kuch kaam ka nahi hain' he murmurs getting up..
But before he could reach the kitchen, Sahil stood up silently and walked past him. A few minutes later, he returned, handing Rajat a steaming cup of coffee while taking a seat with his own.
Rajat raised an eyebrow. "So... are you going to tell me what happened, or are we just going to sit here drinking coffee in awkward silence?"
Sahil hesitated for a moment before finally speaking. He recounted everything-the dinner, Disha's confession, his reaction, and how he had asked her never to return.
Rajat listened intently, his expression unreadable.
Once Sahil finished, Rajat let out an exasperated sigh, shaking his head. "So let me get this straight... You fired her just because she fell in love with you? Just because she confess her true feelings?? Dude, she didn't commit a crime-she just loved you!"
Sahil clenched his jaw. "What was I supposed to do, Rajat? Give her false hope? Feed into expectations that can never turn into reality? Mein use dukh nahi pohu chana chahata.
Rajat chuckles as he said, 'Pagal mein nahi ..pagal tu ho gaya hain Sahil'.
'Excuse me?' he frowned.
'Acha thik hain ,ek baat bata tu kyu nahi kar sakta usse pyaar??'
He looks at him startled..
'Bata na?? Tu kyu nahi kar sakta usse pyaar??' Rajat repeated, his tone serious now.
Sahil opened his mouth to respond but found himself at a loss for words.
